Sony Mobile : Z3 Autofocus

The Sony Z5 comes with the world’s fastest autofocus and needed a global digital and social campaign to show the world.

Sony Xperia social channels have a huge and appreciative following, but are saturated with product shots. We needed a bold campaign style which would really stand out from the sea of content and engage the Z5s young, target market.

We created challenges which would test the autofocus feature to the maximum, bringing them to life with colourful, irreverent, slightly absurd, 15 second stings – showing an action sequence and the resulting shot captured on the screen of the Z5.

The first burst of the campaign really captured people’s imagination, some creating their own versions and many suggesting other things we could capture – which we obligingly created in our own style and sharing back to our fanbase.
