Kinder Raffaello : If you get them...
Coated in white chocolate and coconut flakes surrounding a soft almond centre, Kinder Raffaello are aimed at a 20-35 female market as a shareable or gifted treat.
Our insight was that close friends are often so in sync, they know what the other person is thinking without even having to communicate it.
This formed the catalyst for our campaign line ‘If you get them, get them Raffaello’ and a series of short stories where one friend was able to pre-empt the thoughts of the other – a box of Raffaello of course.
From ten initial scripts presented to the global stake-holders, we narrowed down to two for the initial campaign run. I was keen to commission Australian illustrator, Neryl Walker to bring a quirky, feminine flare to our storyboards, the client needed little persuading and thankfully she was available for our narrow production window teaming with animator Matt Lee.
